The Rochester Area Employment Network, Inc. (RAEN) is a consortium of agencies in the Rochester, New York area, that works collectively to assist in the employment, or re-entry into employment, of individuals with disabilities through education, outreach, and training opportunities. Since its organization, RAEN has proven a valuable community resource for individuals with disabilities, area businesses, service providers and workers with disabilities.
RAEN works with individuals with all types of disabilities (physical, mental, emotional) and all skill levels from entry level to those who have advanced degrees. The jobs are competitive, community based jobs, not sheltered workshops
The mission of RAEN is to increase community awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities, by promoting employment opportunities for qualified candidates, educating businesses on the array of services available in the Rochester area and enhancing the professional development of its members and employers at large.
